“After getting involved with the music engineering program in college, a professor recommended I speak with Kelsey about the Tufts class she teaches on acoustics. She introduced me to the work that Acentech does and the field of architectural acoustics. Acoustics seemed like the perfect combination of math, science and music.”
Allie Lam is a member of Acentech’s architectural acoustics group and consults on a variety of institutional, commercial, and residential projects. Her areas of concentration include room shaping, sound isolation, and mechanical systems noise and vibration control. Her software skills include C++, MATLAB, Max/MSP, ProTools and Microsoft Suite.
When Allie is not working she can be found relaxing at the beach, swimming laps, or singing in a choir.
