Darshit Joshi, LEED AP BD+C Joins Acentech as a New Principal
CAMBRIDGE, MA October 13, 2023 — Acentech is pleased to announce that Darshit Joshi, LEED AP, BD+C has joined the firm’s Charlottesville, Virginia office as a new Principal in the Architectural Acoustics Group. Joshi is an expert acoustician with more than 20 years of consulting experience in architectural acoustics, MEP noise and vibration control, and environmental noise assessment serving the design and construction industry throughout the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia area. As a Principal, he will be responsible for project leadership and fostering client relationships to support Acentech’s strategic growth in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Joshi brings a diverse engineering background to his Principal role with proven project management acumen and knowledge of a broad range of building types across multiple market sectors. His portfolio of projects ranges from corporate, governmental, and hospitality facilities, to educational campus buildings and performing arts spaces.
As a Principal of Acentech’s Architectural Acoustics Group, one the largest acoustics consulting practices in the United States, he bolsters the group’s leadership capacity and expands Acentech’s technical reach, collaborating with the firm’s AV, technology, noise and vibration consulting groups to better serve our major clients in the region.

Joshi earned his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University in 2003 and his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Nagpur University in 1997. He is a LEED Accredited Professional, Building Design and Construction, and a member of the Institute of Noise Control Engineering (INCE-USA) and the National Council of Acoustical Consultants.
