Museum of Fine Arts, Boston | Hallyu! The Korean Wave Exhibit

Studio A contributed technology consulting expertise to the multi-sensory design for this popular exhibit that explores Korea’s booming contemporary culture and historical roots. Principals Corey Salvatore, CTS, and Ioana Pieleanu shared the excitement of opening night with museum organizers and visitors!

Facility Planning for Performing Arts

Studio A at Acentech offers exploratory assessment services to clients embarking on performing arts facility initiatives. We provide pertinent information and analysis to make better-informed strategic choices for their arts-centered spaces, which lead to new, extended, or renewed facilities for tomorrow’s artists. Our acoustics and audiovisual planning approach evaluates a facility or a group of facilities, maps our findings against the users’ needs and goals, and provides strategic recommendations for future capital projects and improvements.

PEOPLE

Acoustician Shelly Alfred, is an award-winning artiste and songwriter for Signal Band, a Caribbean Bouyon music sensation!

Alfred’s musical journey featured in Harvard Magazine started with an elementary school calypso competition. His music and performance career grew while he was studying environmental design and architecture, and now his acoustical consulting role connects these two passions.
