When looking to expand its 78-acre site in Ashburn, VA, RagingWire selected Integrated Design Group as the architectural engineering firm for this new 245,000 SF critical facility data center. Acentech provided telecommunications system design, security system design, and audiovisual consulting for this project.

Part of RagingWire’s appeal to its clients is focused around the organization’s redundant and secure infrastructure, and its interconnected campuses. Designing spaces for the VA3 facility required a complete understanding of telecommunications, security systems, and audiovisual design and how they meet their corporate standards. Full integration with other buildings on the Ashburn campus—and its other facilities around the country—was a critical aspect to this project.

As a first-class provider of data storage solutions, RagingWire also looks to provide world-class amenities for its facilities. VA3 is equipped with a training center, fitness center, game room, client lounge, breakout spaces, and multiple conference rooms. Acentech’s consultants also provided guidance on the audiovisual designs of these spaces that are compliant with the strict standards of the client. Intuitive, no-hassle systems are key to productive meetings and training sessions, and Acentech ensured these AV designs were as user-friendly as possible.
