Acentech is proud to announce the following promotions:
Aaron Betit joined Acentech in 2011, and leads the firm’s Arch Mech practice in Los Angeles. His architectural acoustics projects include a wide variety of building types – from residential and retail, to performing arts, higher education and municipal construction. Aaron also provides noise and vibration consulting for transportation and industrial environments.
Ben Davenny has been with Acentech since 2000, and is the firm’s Healthcare vertical market leader. He has presented on acoustics and vibration issues in healthcare environments at NEHES, and has written articles for Healthcare Design and Medical Construction & Design. His current consulting projects include several hospitals, higher education facilities, and sound isolation for residences and hotels.
Jay Epstein joined Acentech in 2012, and has been consulting for telecommunications, electronic security and power distribution for over 25 years. His current projects include IT and security system design for higher education clients, K-12 education, commercial data centers and corporate office fit-outs.
Ioana Pieleanu has been with Acentech since 2004, and is the firm’s co-Higher Education vertical market leader. Ioana consults on a wide variety of project types – from K-12 education and higher education facilities, to performing arts venues and corporate offices. Her current consulting projects include office fit-outs for nationally recognized tech firms, residential developments and convention centers.
Jonah Sacks joined Acentech in 2004, and is the firm’s Studio A vertical market leader. He collaborates on 3DListening® auralizations for diverse clients. Jonah’s current consulting projects include performing arts centers, higher education and K-12 buildings, and a children’s museum.
Rose Mary Su has worked at Acentech since 2005. She is the firm’s K-12 and Laboratory vertical market leader, and serves on the editorial board for Architecture Boston magazine. Rose Mary is also currently working on prominent higher education, corporate commercial and high-rise residential projects.
Fengru Huang joined Acentech in 2012. She received her Bachelor Arts in Business degree from Tianjin Normal University in Tianjin, and a Master of Arts in Economics from Tufts University.
Maylin Pavletic started at Acentech in 2015. Her responsibilities in the marketing department include social media, website, company blog and SEO management; quals and proposal document preparation; and telling lots of funny stories (she can’t help it, when she’s not at work she’s a stand-up comedian)!
