Founded in 1955, ASIS International (the American Society for Industrial Security) is a professional organization with over 34,000 members worldwide that issues certifications, standards, and guidelines for the security profession. Acentech Principal Frank Scala RCDD, PSP, CTS is a member of the ASIS Physical Security steering committee and Cybersecurity sub-committee that drove the development of a new certificate program, Essentials of Convergence: Bridging the Gap between Physical Security and Cybersecurity.
