“Building loudspeakers was a hobby for me in college. After graduation, I was intrigued by the projects Acentech took on and then found myself here. The technical aspects of systems design are very interesting, but I most enjoy the challenge of problem solving and fitting a system into a client’s vision for a building.”
Jason Martinez has 19 years of technology consulting experience in audiovisual and sound systems design and construction implementation for a broad range of building types. He is responsible for project management, programming, design utilizing computer modeling to evaluate sound performance, construction documentation, and on-site commissioning. His portfolio of building types include higher educational academic buildings, specializing in the design of distance learning classrooms, conference/meeting/board rooms, large instructional classrooms, videoconference systems, theaters and performing arts centers, athletic complexes, and e-sports facilities.
Jason serves on Acentech’s Higher Education market team, and is responsible for Esports marketing strategy, client development and industry thought leadership.
I find it amusing when my clients don’t realize that I’m on the other side of the country from the project I’m working on. When I’m not working, I enjoy time with my family and cycling.
